Mario Balotelli had to be rescued from toilets at a Manchester airport earlier today after hiding from a hoard of fans who caught sight of him.
The Manchester City striker jetted in from Milan, Italy today to begin pre-season training and was most likely hoping for a quiet arrival. However, a group of fans recognised him as he was waiting in the queue to collect his luggage and wasted no time in approaching him to ask for photographs and autographs.
According to the MailOnline, when even more people began surrounding him, Mario had to run to the safety of a toilet where he stayed until it was safe for airport staff to escort him out without being seen.
The 21-year-old has spent the last couple of weeks enjoying a fun-filled holiday in his home country where he was seen partying with numerous women and splashing the cash behind bars.
With him being back in the UK to work, Mario may also have to face the music with his ex-girlfriend Raffaela Fico who claims she is pregnant wih his baby.
