SCHOLES SIGNS NEW UNITED DEAL

     
                     Paul Scholes signs new United deal

Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed earlier in the month that Scholes, 37, would be remaining at the club for another season having impressed following his return from retirement in January

The deal has now been formally completed by the club, who missed out on the Premier League title
on goal difference following manchester city  injury time to win over QPR on final day of the season.
Scholes made the decision to reverse his retirement, announced last summer, in January and made 17 Premier League appearances, scoring four goals.
Ferguson said on May 14: "I’ve spoken to him and he’s staying. I’m delighted. He knew he’d made a mistake.
