Samklef’s manager has denied that the artiste, who was recently denied entry upon arrival in England, and subsequently deported, travelled to the U.K on a false claim.
The story, published recently in Encomium Weekly, alleged that the father of one said he’d lied to immigration officers about his reasons for travelling to the U.K, saying most Nigerian artistes do it.
According to the manager, ‘Samklef was once invited to the U.K for a show, but couldn’t attend due to logistics challenges on the part of the organizers. A few months later, he got another invitation and tried to travel on the visa issued him by the former company, but unknown to him, that company had reported him to immigration, accusing him of fraudulent activities, hence, he was sent back to Nigeria’.
