Adele has announced that she and boyfriend Simon Konecki are expecting their first child.
The 'Rolling In The Deep' singer shared the joyful news on her website today and asked for fans to respect their privacy.
"I’m delighted to announce that Simon [Konecki] and I are expecting our first child together," Adele wrote.
"I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx."
Adele has been dating Simon since last summer and went public with their relationship in January. The Grammy award-winning singer told People magazine earlier this month that she "really wants to be a mum"
